Do those courses actually lead to success? Fewer than a few people. It is important to understand that those who sell these affiliate marketing courses are merely trying to market their product. Affiliate marketing requires more work.
Affiliate marketing fails due to the assumption that it is more profitable than other businesses
It will usually take years for a small business to start making a profit. The average restaurant owner has to spend tens of thousands of dollars (sometimes millions of dollars) to open the doors of their restaurant. It usually takes a small business three to five years to start seeing profits. The expectation of new affiliate marketers is that they will read a few books and then start making $1,000 or more per month. Surely, it can’t be that easy.
