Affiliate Marketing will make you more money than blogging ever can. That’s because blogging doesn’t make you money in the technical sense: it’s a blank canvas on which you’ll implement any online money-making ventures you choose.
However, I think people are making a killing from pure blog content. They might be people who have several decades of experience and millions of daily traffic as a result. Don’t get your hopes high on getting rich from blogging, though. Well-off bloggers are few and far between, plus they make a significant portion of their money from advertisements and – of course – affiliate marketing.
It’s important to note that while blogging might not sound as lucrative as affiliate marketing, you still need the former to make more money from the latter. A blog allows you to draw in traffic to which you get to advertise a product and earn commissions. Blogging also allows you to connect with other content creators and affiliate marketers, thereby sharing resources.
In conclusion, blogging gets you the leads, while affiliate marketing gets you the money. So it’s best to go for the latter if you want to make more money in the long term.
