Does blogging make more money than affiliate marketing?

This question doesn’t make sense. As blogging alone doesn’t make anything, you have to monetize it first. There are a number of ways to monetize a blog including, AdSense, direct advertising, affiliate marketing, and much more.

For example, affiliate marketing would be a way to monetize the blog, rather than blogging and affiliate marketing being two separate things.

Which way are you currently monetizing the blog? I feel affiliate marketing is a good earner if you have engaged traffic. Whereas if you have a lot of traffic but not much engagement google AdSense maybe the better route. As Google can pay out per impression or click.

Yeah, I totally agree with the first answer. Making money online is becoming more interconnected everyday. Blogging, affiliate marketing, and e-commerce are becoming more dependent on each other by the minute

Most bloggers these days are also affiliate marketers. The fact that they already have a platform and a loyal following makes it easier for them to reach out and market their products and services

You’re all wrong! Blogging used to be a great way to run affiliate marketing but now most target audiences for the most affiliate programs are not reading blogs anymore.

If you are still using blogging, I would strongly recommend trying out some other medium!

Affiliate marketing is more lucrative than blogging, and it’s a fact that I hate to admit these days. Everyone has caught the affiliate marketing bug, and you would hardly see blog posts and videos without affiliate links and SEO keywords that house them. Sometimes, they get overboard, and you feel like you’re not reading a meaningful blog post anymore.

So, I’d say bloggers don’t make money all that much unless they become affiliate marketers themselves.

Both concepts are the same – or at least that’s how everyone does it. Bloggers get paid by various means, the primary of which is affiliate marketing. It is why you see product links everywhere on a blog post and ads as well.

If we get down to the details, blogging needs affiliate marketing while affiliate marketing doesn’t need blogging. So you can say affiliate marketing is better in that regard and more lucrative as a result.

I’d say no, especially when considering the digital trends over the last five years. Content creators don’t care about what you read on their blogs anymore. They are more occupied with showing up on the first pages of search engines and earning CPC commissions. Of course, you can’t blame them, as SEO and affiliate marketing are sometimes more lucrative in the long run.

If you plan to blog about “something you love,” you’re better off merging it with affiliate marketing.

I find it interesting that people think that blogging makes more money than affiliate marketing. In reality, blogging is just a medium through which you get to make money from affiliate marketing. If you have a blog, you’re likely to make all your money being an affiliate marketer.

Essentially, content creation forms the basis for blogging, meaning that you get to showcase your creative skills on that front. You can start as either a blogger or an affiliate marketer and keep at it for a while. However, both industries are still separate, even when one serves the purpose of the other.

Along the line, you might want to expand your earning potentials as a blogger. At such a time, affiliate marketing seems a logical addition for better profits. In addition, advertisers understand the cost-effective prospect of merging blogging and affiliate marketing platforms. Therefore, you have better incentives to make money from both simultaneously.

These days, people blog to sell something: you’ll find SEO keywords, backlinks in posts, and topics that are “hyper-specific” in a niche. In addition, lucrative affiliate programs and setups are available, and you can access them as a blogger.

So, affiliate marketing is the real money-making prospect of the two.

Affiliate Marketing will make you more money than blogging ever can. That’s because blogging doesn’t make you money in the technical sense: it’s a blank canvas on which you’ll implement any online money-making ventures you choose.

However, I think people are making a killing from pure blog content. They might be people who have several decades of experience and millions of daily traffic as a result. Don’t get your hopes high on getting rich from blogging, though. Well-off bloggers are few and far between, plus they make a significant portion of their money from advertisements and – of course – affiliate marketing.

It’s important to note that while blogging might not sound as lucrative as affiliate marketing, you still need the former to make more money from the latter. A blog allows you to draw in traffic to which you get to advertise a product and earn commissions. Blogging also allows you to connect with other content creators and affiliate marketers, thereby sharing resources.

In conclusion, blogging gets you the leads, while affiliate marketing gets you the money. So it’s best to go for the latter if you want to make more money in the long term.

Affiliate marketing rules the online business market. One reason for that is its ease of operation and potential reach. It’s not unusual to see brands use blogs and websites as funnel points for their affiliate marketing programs. From an aggregate standpoint, affiliate marketing exploits blogging on many lucrative levels.

However, the development isn’t always great news – for users, at least. Blog articles now have outrageous amounts of backlinks and SEO keywords. For the average internet reader, it makes for robotic, inorganic content. Sadly, those kinds of content have the reputation of getting people to click on more links.

As a blogger, your chances of making money are limited, and affiliate marketing unlocks more earning potential for you, even if it means you have to chuck your content complete with SEO keywords and links.

If you are consistent with producing content blogging can be extremely profitable. Once you have a blog which is drawing in traffic monetizing it is the relative easy. As more publishers turn to socials blogging by no means is easy but it is much less competitive than back in the day. It’s about finding a niche and produce high quality content.

Blogging means sharing information with online users and keeping that information updated over time.

Affiliate marketers, however, are actually bloggers.

They create content that promotes affiliate products. In a way, affiliate marketing and blogging are both connected.

Having a blogging website would make affiliate marketing easier and more effective. It is like creating an area for affiliate marketing.

Your affiliate customers might come back to your site for more useful products if they liked your product recommendation or review blog.

To put it simply, most bloggers are affiliate marketers who earn money by advertising their websites.
