The short answer is, “Yes, affiliate marketing would be relevant next year and the subsequent years to come”. However, you might want to hear the long answer as well. The affiliate marketing industry has its structures, so you can expect any changes to take its effect systemically – positively or negatively.
Say affiliate marketing is experiencing a dip in the coming years, it’s not likely that you’ll notice immediately. The prominent stakeholders and advertisers take most of the hit in such a situation. Therefore, I’d say you have nothing to worry about; unless you’re a heavy investor, that is.
Also, affiliate marketing flows and ebbs, and it’s best to stay committed to the business and wait out the storms. New, well-meaning policies and strategies might take the wrong turn on a whim, leaving marketers out in the cold. However, if you’ve got time, it doesn’t take long to find an upside.
If all of that doesn’t inspire you to stay in the affiliate marketing industry, it’s OK to try something new. Investors who get hit harder with every slight downturn can consider a less volatile digital trading system. All the others don’t have any reason to worry about in 2022.
