Under Armour, Inc. is an American sports company that designs, manufactures and sells sports clothing, footwear and accessories for both men and women. It was founded in 1994 in Washington, D.C. by Kevin Plank who saw an opportunity to adapt breathable synthetic material (then used for shorts) into shirts for sports teams. The idea took off, and the technology has since become common place and adapted for use by Nike, Adidas and Reebok.
Under Amour run their affiliate program through Awin in the UK and offer an 8% revenue share.
